Professor Djordjevic received the Dipl. Ing., M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, in 1996, 1999 and 2005, respectively. He is a Full Professor at the Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Nis, with research and teaching interests in the general area of statistical communication and information theory with applications in satellite fixed and mobile communications, as well as terrestrial wireless and free space optical communication systems. He is an author of more than 45 journal and 150 conference papers. He has been a reviewer for several IEEE journals and has taken part in numerous communications conferences as a reviewer, session chairman, or invited speaker. He is a member of the IEEE.
