Influence of receiver imperfections on signal detection. Channel capacity, outage probability, error performance. Application of error correction codes. Physical layer security. AI-based design of 6G systems.

 

Free space optical communication systems: Application of different modulation techniques and error correction codes. Bit error rate, capacity and outage probability. Hybrid RF/FSO and mixed RF/FSO systems - performance estimation and designing. Cooperative networks. Quantum communications.

 

Satellite communications: Integration of LEO satellites into terrestrial network. Fixed and mobile services. Influence of co-channel interferences, imperfect reference signal recovery, high power amplifier nonlinearities on digital signal transmission over satellite channels. Application of error correction codes.
